Here is the link to our webpage describing it in more detail: Mazamas Used Equipment Sale
This year we're working with select area retailers who will be offering limited amounts of new gear (blems, overstock or discontinued items) at excellent discounts over retail. We're also working with Fish Emergency Services to collect items such as warm clothes for donation to the needy.

Trails Trodden
Triple Falls loop hike 1-26-10
A hardy twelve of us enjoyed a weekday hike up these familiar Gorge trails,
rushing waterfalls, and a day of humidity but no precipitation. Starting
at the Horsetail Falls trail head, we climbed some easy graded switchbacks
and soon were rewarded with the lovely Ponytails Falls. Continuing onward
and upward, we had occasional views over the Columbia River, as well as
the Oneonata gorge down below, and crossed the bridge at that waterfalls.
At the intersection of Horsetail Falls' and Oneonta trails, we turned south
and soon were ogling and photographing magnificent Triple Falls. We passed
some youths packed with overnight gear, planning to camp at the spot just
on the east side of the new bridge. We stopped for a short snack break,
then climbed one more mile to the next bridge crossing, and had a welcomed
lunch break on mossy rocks and logs. Descending back down the same path,
except staying on the Oneonta trail rather than turning east back on the
Horsetail Falls trail, we made our way down to the old highway. We walked
the short distance along the road carefully, and enjoyed the newly restored
Oneonta Tunnel on the way back to our vehicles. Thanks all for a fun and
beautiful day of gorge hiking!
